Mo'okuauhau O Michelle Eugenia Lokelani Kahananui Makalua-Yee (Genealogy of .......)

King Kekaulike of Maui
Painting by Brook Kapukuniahi Parker

(Please forgive my spelling, my computer has NO kahako & 'okina settings)

The youngest daughter of Kekaulike (painting above) and Kahilipoilani was the Princess Luukia-i-Kuhele. She was the consort of the Prince Kauhiaimoku-a-Kama. She was also the consort of the Prince Kauhiwaikapu-a-Umi surnamed Kaahuili-a-Kahookaa. He was the son of the Prince Keawe-Uhi-I-Kealakea and the High-Chiefess Kaaina-Kauika-Pouli. He was also a grandson of Queen Keakealani of Hawaii.

BY THIS PRINCE, Luukia-i-Kuhele was the mother of the following children: Kauhimaka-o-Kawaieli, Keohoku-a-i, Kekukaena-i-Kalolo, and Kekawelo-i-Kamakalua. The eldest son, Kauhimaka-o-Kawaieli, is the ancestor of the Kamakau and Pihi families. The famed Hawaiian historian, Kamakau, descends from him as also does Louisa Pihi Sheldon (Mrs. Henry Sheldon), her son, Henry Clarence Sheldon, and her nephew, the well-known singer Samuel Kapu of Honolulu.
The next son, Keoho-ku-a-i, is the ancestor of the Doctor Makalua family of London
